Cheap looking & outsourced

Hired Unified for an awning installation, all they did was outsource the work to another company. The material was cheap looking and make the house look like a dump. Very disappointed. I had to wait weeks and for a company in Brooklyn to do the work. The salesperson made it seem like they were a legit business that does the work. If I wanted a storefront to do the work, I would have just hired them myself, why would I have paid for a salesperson to give me a load of bunk, never mentioned that they don't do the work. I do not recommend.

Be careful of the old switcheroo

ordered a certain color siding, I got what I ordered. Ordered all flashing, corner pieces and moldings in white. Got what I ordered. Ordered a white brick face for the front of my house, got beige that they are trying to push off as white. The fight is on. Paid them most of the money, with holding the last 900 dollars. Had I known of their shenaniggans, wouldn't have given them one red cent..2020 hind sight NEVER, NEVER give one cent till you are completely satisfied with what you asked for. This company is a joke and it was on me. Never again, and never a recommendation.

They have an excellent sales pitch but horrible service. The product quality is significantly below the industry standards for material, workmanship, and lifespan.

BBB complaints are not valuable due to BBB conflicts of interest and staffing issues.

you get what you paid for.. They are a horrible company..

they pay the lowest wages they can to their subcontractors and your workmanship is a result. Let me guess, you chose them because they were a lot cheaper than the other companies that gave you estimates...

next time you have work done on your home think about that. you get what you paid for.

Unified Window Systems, Inc. caused water leak/damage because they failed to caulk window install

Unified Window Systems, Inc. in NY caused a water leak/damage because they failed to caulk the window they installed. It was a simple oversight but when I asked them to pay for the paint so I could repair/paint over the water damage, they simply read me their contract which stated, "if a leak is not reported immediately the contractor will only be responsible to stop a leak in our product". It was reported immediately when it rained and I saw the leak, what is their liability then? Why should I have to pay to fix the damage they caused by poor workmanship. They responded quickly, but then to say, it's not their responsibility, that's not right.

I thought I was the only one. Had replacement windows installed, the condition is worse than the original windows.

I would not recommend this company, especially if you have an old house,.

When i took the company to court the judge said what do i expect, so my suggestion is spend a few extra dollars for quality windows and work. I have to put plastic on my windows with their replacement windows.

Their work quality is bad.

I am having a similar problem that has been going on for over a year. They have made several attempts to fix the problem, but it is not fixed as of yet. I do not have much faith that it ever will be.
